Late on a summer afternoon, I watched as the momma red fox slipped quietly in and out of the brush, almost as if she was waiting for someone. About fifteen minutes later, her mate appeared, and the two came together as if sharing a quiet conversation. Hidden behind a tree, I was able to capture this tender moment between the pair—a glimpse into the secret lives of foxes.
