Windsurfing on Lake Garda – Color in Motion

Arriving by ferry into Riva del Garda early in the morning, the day’s hike still ahead of
us, I leaned over the rail to take in the scene. The wind had already begun to whip
across the lake, stirring up energy and filling the sails the windsurfers.. Their red and
yellow triangles darted across the water, a playful contrast to the looming cliffs behind.

The sailors skimmed lightly over the ripples, leaning into the gusts with practiced ease,
while I couldn’t help but wonder how cold that water must be. It was one of those
simple, fleeting moments — the lake alive with motion, the day not yet begun, and the
sense that adventure was waiting just beyond the shore.
