Tuscany Clocktower Shadows

We are eating and drinking our way through the small hillside towns of Tuscany, and
one of our stops brought us to Castiglione d’Orcia. It turned into one of those perfect
late lunches — good wine, great food, and superb people. We lingered at the table,
chatting easily with several folks nearby, soaking in the warm hospitality.

As we finally stood to leave and stepped back onto the cobbled street, I happened to
glance up. There it was — the medieval clock and bell tower, standing tall against the
sky. Its weathered stone and timeless presence felt both enchanting and humbling, a
reminder of just how many lives and stories this little town has seen pass by.
