Ruby-Throated Hummingbird on Branch

It was about 6 o’clock on a warm August evening, the perfect time when the light softens and nature seems to settle in. The hummingbirds were out in full swing, darting and weaving through the air like tiny dancers in a well-choreographed routine. This one finally paused for just a moment, perching on a branch as if to catch its breath. The evening glow lit up its iridescent green feathers, making it shimmer against the dark background. I felt lucky to freeze that fleeting pause in their endless dance.
