Monarch_s Feast

I spent over an hour in the summer heat, watching the squiggly, unpredictable flight
of Monarch butterflies. At first, it seemed completely random, but slowly a rhythm began
to reveal itself — a pause here, a dart there, a sudden return to the same flower patch.
These butterflies rarely sit still. Sometimes it’s just the briefest nip at a blossom before
they flit away; other times, they linger just long enough for you to catch your breath and
appreciate their delicate beauty. On this hot, sunny day, with the harsh light beating

down, I waited for that perfect moment. And when one finally settled on a bloom, wings
glowing orange against the green background, I knew the wait had been worth it.
