Male Northern Cardinal in Snowfall

It was a cold and snowy January morning, and I was sitting with my coffee at the table by the back door, watching the birds flit about in the winter storm. Among them, one brilliant male cardinal caught my eye. He didn’t seem bothered by the snow at all—instead, he looked as though he was embracing it, perched proudly in the branches. I dashed upstairs for my camera, hoping he would still be there when I returned. To my delight, he was waiting, as if posing just for me.
