Low and Ready – Hunting Red Fox

It was late in the fall afternoon, with dusk beginning to settle, when I spotted a papa red fox making his way toward the embankment of trees and shrubs. He stretched out in the fading light, curling into the grasses as if preparing for a nap. I hurried off to grab my camera, hoping he might still be there when I returned. Luck was on my side — I caught him just as he stirred awake, his amber eyes glowing against the autumn backdrop.
