Golden Grace

On a warm summer afternoon, the garden was alive with color and motion. Butterflies
drifted from bloom to bloom, but one in particular caught my eye — a Great Spangled
Fritillary, its wings glowing golden-orange in the sunlight. It fluttered for a moment, then
landed gracefully on a brilliant red zinnia, a flower as bold and vibrant as the butterfly
itself.
The contrast was striking: the silvery spots on its wings shimmering against the deep
red petals, framed by the soft greens of the garden beyond. I held my breath, knowing
that such moments never last long. With butterflies, it’s always a dance between
patience and timing — they never stay still for long, but when they do, the beauty is
unforgettable.
