Eastern Bluebird on Budding Branch

This image tells the story of a hopeful bird who spent days visiting a newly placed bluebird box, much like a homebuyer touring a potential house. Though she ultimately chose another spot to nest, this fleeting visit left behind a moment of beauty and anticipation, captured forever in this fine art print.

In my second year of offering a bluebird box, this flighty little visitor appeared. She circled nervously, returning again and again to inspect the house as if weighing her options. On one of her “homebuyer” visits, I was able to capture this image — a reminder that even when plans don’t go as expected, nature always gifts us something special to hold on to.
