Sail into the Alps – Lake Garda Horizon

After a long 10-mile hike through the northern trails above Lake Garda, we arrived in
Riva del Garda to catch the ferry across to Limone. My feet were aching, my stomach
was empty, and all I really wanted was a nap. And then I looked out over the water.

The view was breathtaking in its simplicity: the vast stretch of the lake narrowing into the
distance, the cliffs rising on either side, and a few sails catching the wind. The dramatic
clouds overhead only heightened the sense of scale and quiet power. It was one of
those moments where exhaustion faded, replaced by the calm wonder of simply being
there.
